Gardens
On the note of considering our heart-soil today, here's some lyrics for thought:
Garden (by Claire Cloninger and Kelly Willard)
Plough the field of my heart, plant the seed of your life
Let the fruit of Your Spirit grow
Try the thoughts of my mind, weed the lies that have grown
And leave only the truth I should know
And I will be a garden unto You
Where the springs of Your love will flow
I will be a garden unto You, Lord
Where the fruit of Your Spirit can grow
Flood the dryness in me with Your joy and Your peace
And my heart will be new again
Let the soil of my life hold the Truth of Your Word
And Your Spirit will bloom within
Rooted and grounded in all that You are
Filled with Your Spirit
The planting of the Lord...
If you do away with the yoke of oppression, with the pointing finger and malicious talk, and if you spend yourself on behalf of the hungry and satisfy the needs of the oppressed, then your light will rise in the darkness, and your night will become like the noonday. The Lord will guide you always; He will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame. You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail. (Isaiah 58:9-11)
What does the Gardener need to do in each of our hearts?
Have a blessed week!

Hey everyone! It's been a long time since anyone posted here so thought I should try reviving this blog. (:
Well, most of us should have handed in our articles for the next issue of One Voice by now. Cheers for a good end result, yeah? (: I'm sure everyone's worked hard so lets hope our work isnt put to waste! Hahha.
I've been thinking, the One Voice isnt really very active besides for writing articles for magazines. I know Ivfen is planning a meeting for this Saturday, but dontcha think we should be abit more... well yeah active haha. Every time an issue is finished, we tend to just drop the whole thing until we have another article to write. Even the One Voice BLOG is dead! Shouldnt more people be posting and sharing their feelings and stuff? We need to be more bonded and stuff like that. We're not just a committee formed to write a magazine, we're good friends too, joining a committee to share about God and things like that, through writing.
United we stand, divided we fall!
